What is the difference between weather and climate?
Weather reflects short-term conditions of the atmosphere while climate is the average daily weather for an extended period of time at a certain location. - NOAA
Really cold days in the winter must mean that the earth isn’t actually warming…
Data to day weather is variable, climate represents the statistcs of weather over time. A warming climate will have many more warm days, but can still have cold and even extreme cold- a warming climate means there will be less of those cold periods over all.
Myth: The ozone hole is a main cause of global warming.
Fact: The ozone is a layer in the stratosphere that protects Earth from the sun’s harmful radiation. The hole was created by chemicals released by humans, and is not directly related to climate change.
